James T. Pascalides, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Pascalides is the founder of University Foot & Ankle Center. He is a Board Certified, Residency Trained Foot Surgeon and a member of the Foot and Ankle Surgery Division of the Department of Orthopaedics at Rhode Island Hospital. He is an attending in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University. Dr. Pascalides is also a member of the Teaching Staff at Roger Williams Medical Center Podiatric Surgical Residency Program. He is a graduate of the Temple University College of Podiatric Medicine. During his many years of Podiatric Medical and Surgical practice he has evaluated and cared for countless complex foot problems.

Dr. Pascalides is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University and a member of the adjunct Clinical Staff at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He is an attending at Rhode Island Hospital and Roger Williams Medical Center. He is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is also a Fellow of The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is actively involved in the training of Podiatric and Orthopaedic Surgical, and Primary Care Residents.

Dr. Pascalides treats all types of foot problems both conservatively, and when necessary, surgically.

Peter J. Sardella, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Sardella joined University Foot & Ankle Center in 1992. He is a Board Certified and Residency-trained Foot and Ankle Surgeon. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Sardella is a graduate of the Temple University College of Podiatric Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Sardella has been a dedicated teacher in all aspects of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is the Former Director of Podiatric Residency Education and Training at Roger Williams Medical Center where he also served as the Chief of the Division of Podiatry. He is on the adjunct Teaching Staff of the Temple University College of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Sardella is the Team Podiatric Physician for the Brown University Sports Teams, working closely with the Departments of Athletic Training and Orthopedic Sports Medicine.

Dr. Sardella specializes in both Sports Medicine and Reconstructive Foot Surgery.

Edmund T. DosRemedios, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. DosRemedios joined University Foot & Ankle Center in 1999. He is a graduate of Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency in Podiatric Surgery at Yale New Haven Hospital / West Haven VA. Dr. DosRemedios is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. DosRemedios is actively involved in teaching. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University where he teaches foot related conditions to residents in Orthopaedic Surgery, General Surgery and Internal Medicine. He is also an attending at the Roger Williams Medical Center Residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery.

Dr. DosRemedios treats all types of foot problems in adults and children. He has a special interest in treating patients with Diabetes-related foot problems including simple and complex wounds and Charcot Foot. He lectures on this subject both locally and nationally.

Krysia LePoer, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Krysia LePoer has served her patients as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine with University Foot & Ankle Center since 2002. Dr. LePoer is a graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, and completed her surgical residency at the Mineral Area Regional Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. She is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. She is also a Fellow of The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. LePoer is actively involved with training and improving the quality of foot care by serving as surgical faculty for the Roger Williams Medical Center Podiatric Surgical Residency, as well as a member of the Foot and Ankle Surgery Division at Rhode Island Hospital.

She is very involved in the community of Podiatry, and currently serves as the President-Elect for the Rhode Island Podiatric Medical Association. She is the state representative for the National Podiatric Mentor Program, as well as serves as the state representative for the Medicare "Carrier Advisory Comittee". She is a member of many national organizations including American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Rhode Island Podiatric Medical Association.

Louis R. Simeone DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Simeone joined University Foot & Ankle Center in 2011. He has been in private practice in Providence, Rhode Island since 1999. Dr. Simeone served as the Chief of Foot Surgery, Section of Podiatry/Surgical Service, Providence VA Medical Center over the past decade. He is also currently the Staff Podiatrist for the Hallett Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology/Rhode Island Hospital. Dr. Simeone is an honors graduate of The New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at the New England Deaconess Hospital/Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. Subsequent to his surgical training, Dr. Simeone completed a research fellowship in Diabetic Foot Surgery at the Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. Dr. Simeone is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Simeone is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University.

Dr. Simeone has published original research related to diabetic foot complications in national scientific publications. He is also an active teacher and lecturer on the topic of foot surgery to Brown medical students/residents/fellows and the Podiatric Surgical Residents at Roger Williams Medical Center. Dr. Simeone is a member of the Podiatric Medical Education Committee at Roger Williams Medical Center. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Rhode Island Podiatric Medical Society.

Dr. Simeone treats all foot related problems in adults and children. He has expertise in all aspects of diabetes related foot problems requiring conservative or surgical treatment. Dr. Simeone also performs reconstructive foot surgery.
